Cap i Casal de Catalunya. Head and Hearth of Catalonia.

In the heart and soul of Catalonia, the sangria is always flowing. Despite the political turmoil in this region, Barcelona remains one of Europe’s top tourist destinations. It is a city for art lovers, foodies and, of course, football fans.
Barcelona’s architecture is regarded as some of the best in the world. Casa Battló and La Sagrada Familia, designed by Antoni Gaudí, attract millions of visitors every year and have become icons of this great city. Gaudí’s distinct work is striking and can be spotted all across the city.
Aside from its buildings, Barcelona is probably best known for its football team. The Camp Nou tour is a must for any sports fans visiting the city. Barça’s impressive trophy room features five Champions League trophies, as well as several La Liga and Copa del Rey titles. As part of the tour, there is an opportunity to have a photo taken holding the European Cup.
If you can handle heights, why not try the Port Vell Aerial Tramway or Montjuïc Cable Cars. The Tramway runs between Montjuïc Hill and Barceloneta across the Port Vell, connecting tourists with the beach.
